嘿嘿，这个问题以前也想过很多次。词典里的意思和句子上下文差距有点大。
后来我都是把它理解为 “立刻” “实时”

我感觉像是“临时的”，因为好像有些软件提供的设置功能就是 on the fly 的，设置后只在当时生效，并不写入配置文件。
